The top frame (1) contains navigational help in the form of buttons covering the individual letters of the dictionary. Clicking a letter button here will update the contents of the lower left frame.
The lower left frame (2) contains an index of headwords, arranged in alphabetical order. This frame will only show headwords with the same initial letter, for instance all entries starting with the letter A. To change index click the appropriate letter button in the top frame.
Clicking a headword in the index section will take you straight to the dictionary entry you want, as the headwords listed here are all linked to the actual dictionary entries, which are located in the lower right frame.
The lower right frame (3) contains the dictionary itself, split up into sections matching the headwords' initial letter. You can change the dictionary letter shown here by first clicking a letter button in the top frame and then clicking a headword in the lower left frame.
The electronic dictionary will give you several advantages:
Browse through lists of headwords or the dictionary text itself, organized by the initial letter of headwords.
Keyboard shortcuts and one-click access to all major functions of the dictionary viewer.
Use a special search pane to search for a word or a phrase in all headword index pages of the dictionary.
Copy translations from the dictionary to your word processor or any other program - thereby you will avoid making typing errors.
Navigate through the dictionary look-ups that you have performed with Back and Forward buttons.
Control the display font and font size of the dictionary.
